« on: Sunday 02 August 09 21:54 BST (UK) »
I have a Charlotte (Lottie) Third b:1896 Dallas, who was a munitions worker in 1917 . Does anybody know where the women of Elgin would be working as munitions worker's please.

We now believe Charlotte was at the Gretna works, does anybody know if there are any records?

I couldn't find anything about munitions work other than http://www.firstworldwar.bham.ac.uk/notes/A%20List%20of%20National%20Factories%20Controlled%20by%20the%20Ministry%20of%20Munitions.doc which listed a sawmill in Elgin being under the control of the Ministry of Munitions in 1917.

Good luck!
