Paulyboy46.........Unfortunately, I do not have any photos of the old school , but I can assure you that you weren't dreaming about going there. I too was at the school from about 1952 to 1959. Can remember having a little brown card with my name on tied around my neck on the first day. Have great memories of the school. Roaring open fires in the winter with all the milk crates stacked up in front to warm the little milk bottles up. Big high ceiling rooms with windows right up high that you couldn't see out of. Rows of wooden topped desks with iron frames and inkwells that the inkwell monitor had to come round and fill up. I still have my report for 1955 - 1956. My class teacher was Mrs Weeks and the headmistress was Mrs Restall. I still remember seeing her dishing out the cane on the hands of various miscreants in her office at the top of the stairs!
