1851 Census, Manley
« on: Tuesday 01 March 05 19:46 GMT (UK) »
Thanks for the help with 1861 census.  Now I'm seeking help with the 1851!!  Could anyone spare some time to look up John Manley b Denbighshire c1826 and wife Ann bFlintshire c 1825, son John bc1845, daughter Maria b 1847 and son Thomas b 1849.
In 1861 they were living in Birkenhead.  All of these children were born in Flintshire but a Llewellyn was born in Birkenhead in 1851, so I' hoping they will show up.  Any help would be much appreciated.  Thanks
Wendy

Hi Wendy

I think if you look at the 1861 on this link you will find Llewellyn was born Flintshire not Birkenhead.

The 1871 for Birkenhead also shows he was born c1851 Mold Flintshire

You should post a request on the Denbighshire or Mold pages

Hi Peter
I imagine you must dread seeing my name come up!!  Yes, you are right of course Lewellyn was born in Flintshire.  Apologies once again.  I am really keen but perhaps too hasty!!!!
Sorry and thanks for your patience and guidance.  Have posted on Denbighshire board.

Hi Wendy
Yesterday I spent four hours going back one hundred years starting with a Willam only to find when writing it up I should have started with Walter !
So you see you are not the only one to have made a mistake,
it can and does happen to everyone and the older I get the more it happens.

good luck with your search and if you need advise please ask its why we are here.
