I found a possible listing in Thom's 1848 -

    John Martin esq., Airhill Cottage, Rathar Rd.

I cant see any later listings for the address. There was quite a bit of redevelopment on Rathgar Rd starting around this time, and a number of terraces were constructed which extend almost the entire length of the road between Rathmines and Rathgar..

Thanks, Shane.  This definitely looks like the Martin in question.
I will keep looking around the Net as something will probably
