John Irwin 1841/51 census

I am looking for John Irwin born 1840 in Newcastle, his mother was Elizabeth, sorry thats all i have.

Where did you get his birthplace/birthyear and mothers name from?

I got it off free bmd John Irwin born June qtr 1840 Newcastle?

But you can't get his mother's name Elizabeth off freebmd. 

Strangely enough, I couldn't find any John Irwin either born or living Northumberland in either census with or without mother Elizabeth. Maybe someone else will have better luck.

The John Irwin on freebmd may not have survived to 1841  ...

Do you have any more clues about John? Does he fit in anywhere with your other Irwin/Urwins?

I got the mothers name off the Regsitry office, they said  no father mentioned, no this all i have

I couldn't find him on any census which is why I asked for further info

There is an Elizabeth Irwin marriage on freebmd in the Sept qtr of 1840 - shortly after John's birth - to a William Ash Hawksworth

 Did Elizabeth register the birth ?  What did registrar record for her address. What did record for John's place of birth aaddress.

 Newcastle Reg Office site give W A H marrying Elizabeth IRWIN and Elizabeth LOWES- // one her married name, other her maiden name- maybe she a widow ?
