Help please Mary Berry born Ireland moved to Burnley,Lancs

Would anyone have any info on my gggrandmother i know it's a long shot but who know's i could strike it lucky.

I am trying to find the history of my gggrandma i do not know her maiden name on the 1901 census she is married to Philip Berry and they had 5 children they are at the time of the census living in Burnley,England.

On the census where you have to put where your born Mary just wrote Ireland no county so cannot pin her down.

Would love to know any informatiopn regarding her family in Ireland before she moved any info would be so much appreciated.

Kellie-Ann, have you tried the 1911 Census? I have found that on that a person added a place name to the Ireland that had been the only detail previously.

I would look for her maiden name first by searching for a birth cert for one of the children, or a marriage cert.

were all the children born in England ?

Thankyou for your replies i tried to look for marriage certificate but it just had philip berry's name on they married in 1870 in Burnley.
Also i cannot get access to the the 1911 census my laptop for some reason unknown to me refuses to let me gain access, every other geneology site i can access but not the 1911
Yes Shane all the children were born in Burnley..

Philip is down as PHLIP, born 1843, Burnley

If you dont have access to Census you can find 1881 on Familysearch.

I think I found the family in 1901 Philip-59 Mary-50 plus children Lucy, Isaac, Mary Ellen, Sarah & Nellie (also found them in 1891) (edit : just spotted that trish1120 posted this info already...)

This looks like a good match for the birth index for one of the children on freebmd :

 Births Sep 1880 / Lancashire

 Name : Berry    Isaac       
 registration district : Burnley    
 volume : 8e   : page 188   

A birth cert would give you Mary's maiden name which would be required to trace her roots in Ireland.

The other other Isaac Berry born in Lancashire around the right time is an  Isaac Sellers Berry born in Ulverston district in 1878

Few mistakes here one would think

Also think that Harry, born 1870/1 has died as ther is a Harry aged 5 in 1881 Census. There are possible deaths aged 0/1 on Freebmd.
