The reference details match - but if you search by district/volume & page then you get 2 grooms and one bride from that register page ... which doesn't make sense. It's possible that the Mary Smith married the other name on the page (Robert Binns) and that for some reason Philips wife's name was left off the index.

I'd say it's worth ordering this civil cert for Philip ...it could include details that are not included on the transcript you already have. I would also order the birth cert for Isaac, as it should include Mary's maiden name, and doubles your chances in case the marriage cert order doesn't work out.

So Philip definitely married Mary SMITH

To get the names of Philips parents and Marys you MUST buy the Marriage Cert.
You also need ISAACS birth cert. to make sure that Mary Smith is DEFINITELY his Mother.
It will cost you abt 14 pounds for them and will be well worth it.
