Franckie,

At http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~hughwallis/IGIBatchNumbers/CountyGloucester_(A-M).htm#B  you can find some M batches of data (marriages) from the church records of St George, Bristol.

In addition to the above, at http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,275211.0.html you will find instructions and other C & M batches extracted from the church records of St George if you look through my list.  I hope you find something helpful.

Regards

Chas

P.S.  You'll find Clifton listed in the Hugh Wallis site but it only gives St Andrews records of later marriages of Radfords.  Might help though?

C

Hello Franckie.  I've just discovered your query and I too have been trying to trace the Radford line back beyond Zacharia and his father William.  I am descended from Zacharia's son, who was also called William.  My own research also confirmed the above-mentioned wedding between William and Ann Pope but I was never able to verify William's birth place and date so could go no further.  Did you have any luck?  I got hold of Zacharia's marriage certificate, and on it William was listed as a cordwainer.  Zacharia's wife was Ann Churchill (Father = Samuel Churchilll, Labourer).  It appears Zacharia died in Cardiff in 1896.  I don't know why he was there, or how he died.
