Hi there.
 I am trying to obtain a copy of The Birth and Marriage certificate for Aaron Fry, (my G/g/g. Grandfather) Born : Bath/ Somerset circa 1795. he married a Girl called  Anne Jones, .
 Please could someone help me find where i could obtain these certificates.. I know there is someone out there that can help me, Rootschat has never let me down  ;D

There were no such things as Birth or Marriage Certificates before the introduction of Civil Registration from July 1837. You would need the Parish Registers for baptisms and Marriages.

 There are two known Children of Aaron and Ann, they where called William and Mary ann, but maybe they had more, will look further into this,

May also  be another earlier child

This gives  you an Address to work with in 1813 ..Horse St Bath

Birth also in BATH as was the Marriage I found..I see from the marriage date 18 Oct 1813 that the above Willim Fry was christened only a few weeks after the marriage ::)

Father William Fry


I would have thought this may be too early for the father Arron Fry as he would have been 39 years old when son william fry was born ..but worth looking into

It may be that there was a previous marriage
