Hello and good morning,

The church in Tuckingmill is called All Saints Parish Church. There are also a few very small non cornformist churches in Tuckingmill too although I do not know what they are called.

Stray Park is part of the mining history in Cornwall. The main mine in the area of Tuckingmill is Dolcoath & Roskear Mines and stray park has something to do with that. Log onto www.mindat.org for more info.

There are several roads in Camborne with links to Stray Park. One is Stray Park Road the other Stray Park Terrace. These are between the Mines and Railway station and are traditional miners/railway workers cottages.

Hope that helps,

Thank you to both of you,

My Uncle has just come back from Cornwall, and I asked him to take photo's of the Parish Churches of Tuckingmill, Madron and  Mylor.  He came back with a picture of some cottages and one of a Church called St Peters in TuckingMill.  It did throw me a little as I thought I saw that  it was called All Saints.

Why my family were there when none of them were miners in Cornwall, but shoemakers, I'm not sure.  ??? But they did go to Burnley and a couple of them became coal miners there.

Thanks for info and web link, it's been really interesting :)
