Any one researching the surname Jukes/Jewkes. Looking for information on Thomas Jukes/Jewkes. According to the 1861 census for Dudley, Worcester. Thomas was age 38   born Dudley  occuption was Fire Iron Maker.

Wife's name is Hannah age 35 born Rowley, Staffordshire.They had the following children:  Louisa age 15, John age 11, Hannah age 9 , Mary age 6 and Rebecca age 4 months.  All born Dudley.

I have just found on the IGI a Thomas Jewkes baptised Dec. 1 1822 in Dudley, parents are John and Mary Jewkes. Wonder if this is him?
