1821 and 1831 census ?

can any one help ,i am looking for william dewis from bulkington (.in both 1841 and 1851 he was a farmer). was he a farmer in 1821 and 1831 in bulkington he was born about 1773 ,where can i find this info out?

The censuses before 1841 were basically head counts and don't contain any real information. Some areas/churches do have censuses from before 1841 that are of use to family historians.

Some Parish Registers include job description so if you look up his marriage or baptism of his children you may get lucky.
There is a good chance he was born in nearby Bedworth, a stronghold of the Dewis families in those days and even today!
