THORNE Look-up Again 1871 Please

Could someone please look-up a William Charles Thorne Born in Wellington in 1867. I have tried this previously with no success but have reason to believe that his date of birth previously thought to be 1865?

Did the chap in the 1887 marriage have a consistent age & birtplcae to follow back form 1901/1891 to 1881 & 1871?

Thanks for looking, the only census I have been able to find him in so far is the 1891 census as below. The age from this and the marriage cert are consistent, but I just thought I would give the birth of 1867 as I found a William Charles Thorne born then in freeBMD and thought maybe he was fibbing about his age.

Yes that was the previous post I made trying to find him but with little success last time either. He married a Elizabeth Hitchcock in 1887 and on the marriage cert states him father as Henry. This one is really annoying as there should be no reason to not be able to trace him but I cannot find them anywhere and cannot find his birth in order to get the cert to confirm his mother and father.

Re your entry re Thorne family of Wellington.  I have a Jane Thorne who married John Chorley at Wellington in 1864.  According to the 1871 census Jane was born 1826 Elworthy, Somerset - I think her parents were George and Sarah.  Just wondered if there was any connection?

At the moment I am unable to find any of the Thorne family I am looking for past William Charles Thorne. This unfortunately means that I could not make any connection with you at the moment but maybe we will get lucky with this in the future.

So the 1887 marriage father is Henry Thorne. Does he have an occupation to go with that?
Where did this marriage take place?
What names appeared as witnesses?
