Fauldhouse Cemetary~Wilson Memorial?
« on: Saturday 22 August 09 12:28 BST (UK) »
Hi all...I've just joined & was wondering how I find out if my mothers relatives are buried in Fauldhouse Cemetary. I lived in Uphall till 1953, then moved to Suffolk England. I have photo's of the headstone, which I believe to be in Fauldhouse. Family plot name is Wilson. Any help or guidance appreciated xx D ps...I'll rake out the photo's later :)

Thanks for that link. 2 David Wilsons are listed in Fauldhouse, one I believe is my Mothers Uncle...date is 7/4/1960. There are more names on the memorial stone...Jessie Wilson, another Jessie Wilson & Elizabeth, (wife of P. Braynion) who died in 1919, but there is no mention of Elizabeth (my Grandmother) being laid to rest there. xx D

Hello Dotti,

I have the West Lothian Burial CD and it lists in Section D Lair 58 in Fauldhouse Cemetery the following:-

David Wilson - Interred 28/11/1925 aged 75
Elizabeth R Wilson - interred 3/2/1935 aged 82
David Wilson - interred 7/4/1960 aged 78
Daniel Quinn - interred 27/10/1908 aged 2 months

Section D Lair 57 has

Janet R Wilson interred 28/1/1884 aged 1 month
Jessie R Wilson interred 17/12/1897 aged 7 years
William Wilson interred 15/9/1954 aged 66

Looks as if it's a double plot (borne out by your headstone photo) - are these the folk you're looking for?

cheers ...  Meg
