Longworth street Deansgate

Trying to get info on gran & grandad name of Wright who lived in Longworth street off Quay Street Deansgate, I think it was No 1 first house on the right (all houses were on the right) off Quay street now pulled down and a small park, and only accesable from John street or Artillery street. I used to stay there as a youngster and attended the local school that had 2 playgrounds one being on the roof, now a hotel. Any info on the house or my grandparents ( gran lived there untill demolition in the late fifties) greatly apreciated.
