Death Loch Snizort 1922

I am trying to find out the circumstances of the death of James Mackie.

According to an entry in Scotlands People he died on 19th December 1922 at Loch Snizort.  The extract is from the Return of Deaths at Sea for January 1923.    On his grave stone it says lost at sea 1922.

The boat he was on was called the Eminent no. 131248.  I have the entry from the Lossiefowk site

If anybody can add anything to the above information it would be much appreciated.
