I know that there was a family bible in my paternal grandmother's family; which according to my Dad was kept by an "Uncle" who was really a cousin .....if that makes sense basically a sister to my gran had a child "out of wedlock" who was then passed off as the son of her parents - I'm sure lots of people have that kind of situation. Doesn't worry me but the Family Bible was then "misplaced" !!! So because of a little hiccup in parentage a lot of family information has been lost ! Very disappointing...........
