Earls Barton/Tebbutts

Hi, Kevin,

The earliest 'stray' I have is a Sarah Tebbutt b.@1625 d.@1706, but have been unable to link her with any of the many Tebbutt family clusters there were in E.B. In later years many of them worked in the boot and shoe trade, or , as your George, were mat makers.The mill mentioned in the 1841 c has long disappeared, my husband says he knows where it was. If you come to E.B. , the newer cemetary is on the fringes of the village.

OH no I can't get it to work, that was supposed to be a picture of Earls Barton church, I went to visit EB last year as my Weed family are from there.

Hi alllegs 

One of my work colleagues always used to tell me that she never had any noise problems with her neighbours. 

Why I ask you say  (well something like that). 

Because the side of her large cottage was at the side of the Graveyard of Earls Barton's ParishChurch.

Are you aware of the small museum in the Chemist Shop.

Has some records in there.

Lots of Weeds are they all from Earls Barton.

hi Sandy, some are, some are not the particular branch I have ,and Kevin might seek. but many thanks anyway. I've completed "ours" as far as I can. and many other branches as well.there is only one elusive branch left, and I think I'm on the way to getting that, intermarriage between distant cousins !
