Thank you both,
Early this morning I did find who I thought might be Rebecca on FreeBMD and this has now confirmed it. Other sisters who are causing me grief are
Eliza 1835, Susan 1838, Elizabeth Mary 1844, all born Cookham.  So if anyone comes across them I would be grateful for the info.
Regards

Susan AUSTIN b1838 married Richard BADNELL, Dec qtr 1862, Pancras 1b 117, by the look of it.

1871 the Badnells are in Remenham, Berkshire, she gives her age as 32, born Berks, Cookham.

Hannah I think married Charles NEVILLE according to census in 1881 and 1891. Can't see a marriage on FreeBMD as yet though.

Hello,
Many thanks for all that, Ian.  I, too, had found the marriages of Eliza and Rebecca Saw. there is also one for a James Saw in Brentford reg dist in 1889. Looks like I will have to get some certificates.

It could possibly be that there was another Saw family in the area with the same naming pattern. Not likely but I must explore all avenues.

My great grandfather is the James Austin of the 1871 that was sent earlier. He went back to Cookham, married,  and stayed there. I will follow up on Hannah and Susan. Thanks again.
Yours
Vicwinann
