Can anyone tell me the year??

Hi all
 I wonder if you can have a look at this photo and put an estimate year to it?

It was taken in a small welsh village called Meifod at some point in the 1800's. The family were all butchers so its hard to narrow it down - the only way would be to guess at which year it was taken.

Well a photo of contrasts is what this is.
The woman is dressed early part of 20th.C but the little chap at the front
is in a style not seen at that time.The jacket with the low slung belt was a
style seen just prior to WW1 as was shorts rather than breeches.
I would suggest 1908 - 12.
