Hello All
Re Matilda Prideaux - as Cando has pointed out, she was married to Anthony Palise. She was considerably older than Anthony. I have a photo of his headstone st Rookwood. His father Antonio/Antinino, was my mother's step father.
From what I could gather, I don't think my grandmother (Antonio's 2nd wife) knew about Anthony.
Matilda's death regis no is 1450/19448, parents William and Elizabeth.
Elfield - can I ask if you would email me a copy of Matilda/Anthony's marriage certificate.

Hi folks
Anyone interested in the Prideaux family.
William Prideaux who married Elizabeth Hall Webster, they had on my tree 10 children.
Some were born in Landulph, Cornwall and some in NZ.
William is son of Pascoe Prideaux and Honor Barrett.
I have gone back to Paganus de Prideaux c 1045 and Isabella.
A daughter of William's is Matilda De Prideaux.
There is a few differences in what I have read on the posts to what I have.
Would like to share any thing to get it right.
My connection is Prideaux married Savery married Towgood
