I also had an answer back confirming that, with a sad postcript i'm afraid.

'From the new book FDTA.....Camp IVB PoW number 90810..shot while attempting to escape with Pte A L Williams......probably a picture of him somewhere in the book too......'

Albert Wigglesworth has two Medal Index Cards.
The more informative one is the one for Albert Wrigglesworth.

Pte 2498 East Yorkshire Regiment.
Awarded British War and Victory Medals and 1914/15 Star.
Date of entry to France 16.4.15
Died of Wounds

His date of entry is consistent with him being in the original draft.

Soldiers Died in the Great War has him as Wrigglesworth and the following additional info: born & enlisted Hull.

If his service record survived the Blitz, it will only be available at Kew as Ancestry have got stuck at "N" surnames.
