Can anyone help, Jane Lawes b.1818 Coombe Bissett has a daughter Eliza  b. 1840/1841 at St Thomas Salisbury there is no mention of a father so I presume the child is illegitimate.

Does anyone know if St Thomas's Salisburywas a home or workhouse etc.

Any help would be appreciated
