Hello Gillmorr, which Census do you need and for which family?  I gave you quite a few Census Refs on the other website - see enquiry for Wright family.
It just saves duplication by other Rootschatters.  Do you have access to either Ancestry or FindMyPast?

Stead family
1891 Census

Henry Stead / head / 43 / Boat Hauler                                    b. Knottingly
Eliza / wife / 43                                                                       b. Eastoft
William / son / 12 / Scholar
Alice A / dau / 6         ''
Fanny / dau / 1
all children born Knottingly

1881 Census - free to view on IGI, Ancestry or FindMyPast
RG11 / 4585 / 53 / 18
Back Lane, Knottingly
Henry & Eliza Stead

1871 Census
RG10 / 4631 / 44 / 7

Gillmorr,

Baxter family

Marriage
Samuel Baxter / Sarah Jane Moore
June 1890 / Pontefract
Vol No: 9c / Page No: 139

1891 Census

Kings Head, Beal
Samuel & Sarah Baxter

You will need the either Samuel's birth or marriage certificate for his parents names.

Gillmorr, I've pulled all the Wright info over from the other website so anyone who wants to do look-ups can see what has already been done

Gillmorr, without knowing William's parents names, there is the following:

1891 Census
RG12 / 3757 / 32 / 5
Beal
William Wright / 9 / b. Beal
Father: Brayshaw & Mother: Emma

1901 Census
RG13 / 4294 / 54 / 12
Beal

Paul H Middleton / 28 / Farmer b. Escrick
Hanah M / wife / 24 b. Holme
Alice / dau / 1 b. Beal
Willie Wright / 19 / Cattleman on Farm / b. Beal

Possible Birth Details
William Wright / Selby
March 1883
Vol No: 9c / Page No: 787

It may be that his birth was not registered until the first 1/4 of 1883. There are no births that I can see for 1882 in Pontefract.

If the above is the correct William Wright, then this is his parents.

Birth
Bradshaw/Brashaw Wright
March 1853 / Pontefract
Vol No: 9c / Page No: 67

1861 Census
RG9 / 3434 / 55 / 11
Manor House, Beaghall
Brashaw Wright / 8
Parents: George & Mary

1871 Census
RG10 / 4632 / 37 / 8
Beal
Brashaw Wright / 18 / Servant b. Beal
with the Coward Family

Think I have found the marriage for Emma & Brayshaw. Do not buy this marriage certificate until you have bought one of their children's birth certificates to verify that this Emma is their mother.

Possible Marriage
Brasha Wright / Emma Spence
Dec 1877 / Pontefract
Vol No: 9c  / Page No: 127

Gillmorr, think I have found your Baxter family

1901 Census
RG13 / 4293 / 91 / 19
Low Green, Knottingly

Samuel Baxter / Head / 36 / Founder @ Glassworks         b. Birkin
Sarah J / wife / 33                                                             b. Beal
Ethel / dau / 9                                                                   b. Beal
Rose H / dau / 7                                                                b. Knottingly
James H / 5                                                                              ''
Polly / 3                                                                                   ''
Harry / son / 1                                                                         ''

1891 Census
RG12 / 3757 / 34 / 10
Kings Head, Beal

Samuel Baxter / 36 / Farm Labourer                                b. Beal
Sarah Jane / wife / 23 / Dressmaker                                    ''
There seems to be a bit of discrepancy with Samuel's age!

1881 Census
RG11 / 4572 / 41 / 42
Farm House, Sharleston
Sam Baxter / 16 / Farm Hand (Indoor)                      b. Beal
with the Ellis Family

1871 Cenus
RG10 / 4632 / 121 / 6
Hay Cottage, Birkin

Henry Baxter / head / 36 / Farm Labourer           Surfleet, Lincs
Frances A / wife / 30
Henry / son / 10
Tom / son / 8
Sam / son / 6
Sarah A / dau / 3

Will be back with 1861 Census

Dee
note: I do hope this is the correct family

Frances was born in Beal when she married Henry they lived 24 Hay Cottage Birkin, Pontefract  so looks like we may have got a link.

The village Beal only as about 700 people living there according to a website I've found so a visit might be in order for me Birkin is also quite near could do the two on the same day with a bit of luck.

Hope to see you in the chat room soon
