William Baillie

I am trying to find out what happened to William Baillie, b.9/3/ 1843 in Olrig Caithness.  He was a master mariner, I think travelling down the east coast of Scotland/England.  In the 1891 Scottish Census he is at home, in 1901 he is in England on his boat the Via.

However in 1908 his widow remarries. I have no idea when or where William died. Can find no trace on English or Scottish death records. Can anyone give me any ideas as to how to find out more information.

Linda
