George Duthie Fordoun
« on: Monday 14 September 09 14:43 BST (UK) »
Hi

I have a death entry from Scotlands People relating to my gt x5 grandfather George Duthie who died on 26 Feb 1821 in Fordoun aged 75 years.

Does anyone know where I may be able to gain access to the Fordoun MIs please?

Thank you

Hi

http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/sct/KCD/Fordoun/index.html

They've been transcribed and are available from the Scottish Genealogical Society - link on above link

Quote
Monumental Inscriptions for the parish have been recorded in Pre-1855 Gravestone Inscriptions in Kincardineshire, edited by Alison Mitchell, Scottish Genealogy Society, 1986, ISBN 0 901061 29 8.

Someone may have a copy and do a look up for you  :)
