Broomlands, Bethlehem, Orange River Colony
« on: Monday 14 September 09 14:49 BST (UK) »
Is there anyone who lives in the district of Bethlehem who has information about Broomlands? A relation of mine died there in 1908. Presumably, it was a farm or commercial agricultural property. Is there still such a place -- or property -- in that district?

Many thanks.

Rodeo

Hi there,
The farm Broomlands is in 6 erfs or divisions in the Bethlehem district according to the municipal valuation roll. I am not sure where the farm is though.
