Armagh - tandragee look up

How do you know they were from Tandragee?  The Freeholder Records available at the PRONI website, only shows four Austin families in all of Northern Ireland.  Alexander Austin in Carryreagh (Co. Down) in 1789 (also noted as Auston); also in Dundonald in the same year; also Archibald Austin in Moyrarkin (Co. Armagh) in 1730; and John, in Kilkeel, Co. Down, in 1790.

So, not a very common surname.  Later records have a James Austen (note spelling) in Kilkeel in 1820 and another James in Aughnahoory (Co. Down) in 1819.
