Austins in Blaina

I am told by my mother that an Uncle of hers owned a lot of property in and around Blaina.  Through deduction I have worked out that it must be either John Austin born Sep Q 1860 Blaina, who married firstly Ann Carter and secondly Elizabeth Austin formely Gould nee Austin (dont know if there is a relationship here other than wife) or James Austin born June q 1868 Blaina.  Is there anyway of telling from Census or/and Street directory.  I am also looking for the marriage of James, who I am told had 3 children or more.

Do you know who his parents where? and if so did they live in Blaina. You could track him through his parents in census has he was growing up. That way you maybe able to eliminate either John
