Does anyone know where I can buy copies of the Silchester Parish Registers please?

The IGI appears only to have the girls baptisms recorded.

Hampshire Record Office sell them on microfiche I believe.

Who are you looking for and what date.  Someone may be able to help.

Thanks I looked on the Hampshire Record Office site but couldn't see them - will look again with my glasses on.

I am trying to trace my Broadhursts from Luke baptised 1779 down through time so I don't want to ask someone to spend ages looking through the PRs.

Luke Broadhurst was baptised 22 Aug 1779 in Silchester, parents George & Mary.

Other children:
George bap 6 Mar 1774
James bp 19 Feb 1786
Joseph bapt 24 May 1789
Charles bapt 27 May 1792                                         

I've not managed to find a marriage for George & Mary 

Luke married Andey Bartlett 25 July 1803 in Silchester

Children:
Hannah 25 Sep 1803
George  bp 21 Apr 1805                                           
Sarah bp 3 Dec 1807   
Mary bp 29 Dec 1809                                                                             
William bp 8 Nov 1812                                                 
     
Luke was buried 25 Feb 1833 aged 54

Thanks so much for looking them up for me. George and Mary married in Berkshire.

I had another look at the Hampshire record office site and found out how to order microfiche from them.  Not sure why I couldn't see it before.

 Use the enquiry service link to request a breakdown of the fiche available for the parish(es) you are interested in. You can download a parish register microfiche order form.  Microfiche cost £1.80 each plus p&p.
