« on: Friday 25 September 09 05:05 BST (UK) »
Hi, My name is Scott Banister from Sydney NSW Australia
Im not to sure but I was wondering wether you can help me in some research Im doing for my Family Tree
Im doing research on and looking for any information on The Kennedy Family and its Members that came here to Australia from Tipperrary IRELAND around 1770 to 1830 especially

WIlliam Kennedy b.Tipperrary Ireland abt 1777 and his son Andrew Kennnedy b. 1809 Clonmel/Waterford Ireland m. 1851 in Shoalhaven NSW Australia Mary A Bevan d. Shoalhaven NSW Australia and there family

It seems both were convicted 29 Mar 1829 in Cork and Sentenced for 7 years for stealing sheep and sent to Australia aboard LARKINS 2
They arrived in Port Jackson Dec 1829.  Both were stockman and butchers. William assigned to James Reid along great Northern Road and
Andrew Assigned to Berry and Wollstonecraft and work in Berry and later married and settled in the Shoalhaven area.  All his family born in Nowra.

Im not sure whether you can help or not but any information you can provide would be much appreciated in the Family Research of the Kennedy Line for my Grandfathers Geneology.

Thanks
