Hi all

Not a request as such - just searching for anyone related to Kinneses in South Africa or anyone researching the name to share information with.

As far as I know, all Kinneses in SA are descended from Robert Kinnes born c1854 in Dundee, Scotland. He owned the Kinnes Whaling Company. A few of his children, such as Angus Carr Kinnes, moved to South Africa after 1901.

If anyone else is researching this line or another one I don't know about, let yourselves be known. :)
