 I am looking foe Joseph Thompson born abt:  1801 in Cambridgeshire
 his wife is Jane Maria also born in Cambridgeshire
 they moved on to Middlesex, London

I couldnt see a Jane Thompson born Cambs living in London/Middlesex, but there is this family

I was a little worried about Janes age when looking a tree on Ancestry for this Family. For others info, they ended up in Australia.

Some of the info confused me and I thought that maybe Jane was a second wife as if these children were born to Jane, she would have been pregnant at abt 13/14/16 if she was born 1810.

I'm happy now as she is old enough to have child in 1824

Tree has her Mother as Flower Coningsby. And Father as William Pitchford.

There is no evidence to support this unless there are records in Australia. Or a bastardry record in England someone has found.

Flora did marry William but not until 1813.

Hi Trish and Ricky,
                             Thank you both very much for your help,  I have  found 3 of the Thompson children in Australia that went over in 1859,  but I see the Father Joseph is not on the census, he also ended up in Australia, but am trying to find when he went and I believe his wife Jane Maria may have ended up joining him there as well,  the Thomas you found on the 1851 is my 3x grand father, he remained in Middlesex

No Joseph found on the 1851 census born Cambridgeshire or just Melbourn so he may well have emigrated by then. The 1854 baptism shows Jane Maria was still in this country at that date.
