Wm. Doyle iron foundr. Selskar iron wks
Doyle Daniel & Sons, ironmongers,Commercial quay

there's no mention that I see of Doyle/Selskar Iron works in the 1881 edition.

Doyle's Ironworks was where Dunnes Stores stands today. I think they also built nearby Glena Terrace. There is still a grandson of those Doyles in Wexford Town.

Hi
I am interested in your Dempsey Blacksmith ancestor. You mention Ballygarrett, is that the Village or Parish.

My Dempsey connection is in the Parish of Ballygarrett.

Laurence Kinsella married Dora Dempsey (born c.1880)of Brickpark brother to Michael (born c.1878) Blacksmith, William (born c.1879) Blacksmith, and Daughter of John Dempsey(born c. 1857), Blacksmith, of Brickpark.

They all appear in 1911 Census for Brickpark, DED Killenagh, Gorey, Co. Wexford. See on line Census for 1911.

Laurence Kinsella, son of Laurence Kinsella and Dora Dempsey went on to marry Mary Burke, daughter of Patrick Burke of Mounthoward, who also was the son of Patrick Burke of Mounthoward.

Hi Mogue,

I have not seen you in the Libary now for awhile. Do you have a townsland for your Laurence Sen?

Laurence Kinsella, son of Laurence Kinsella and Dora Dempsey went on to marry Mary Burke, daughter of Patrick Burke of Mounthoward, who also was the son of Patrick Burke of Mounthoward.

Hi John, it’s been a long time.

Laurence Kinsella, of Ballyduff, Killenagh, son of Laurence Kinsella, married Julia Murphy in 1867.

They had sons Laurence Kinsella born in 1868 and 1874 in Ballyduff, Killenagh.

Their son Laurence Kinsella, born 1874, married Dorah Dempsey in 1903.

The following year 1904 a son Laurence Kinsella was born in Brickpark, Killenagh.

So as you can see we have 4 generations of Laurence Kinsella.

Sorry it has been so long posting this reply.
