Prison Govenor
« on: Thursday 01 October 09 16:04 BST (UK) »
Hi All

I wounder if anyone can please help me
I have a marridge certificate of Hugh Brady who married Susanah Sugden, in Leeds in 1874, I know that Hugh was born in Cork, Ireland around 1851, by the 1881 census living at 6 Portland street Westminister, with his wife and three Children
My question is about his father, on the marridge cert, it has
Father, Hugh Brady, Prison Govenor
could anyone tell me where to look for Prisons in Cork Ireland in and around 1874 to try to find out more

Thanks ever

John
