Hi All,

Well I thought it might be Farrar, but the " F" is bothering me why the down stroke at the end?

I wish I had some more of the handwriting, but it's just the witness signature & it's their own hand (no X)
The other witness has beautiful handwriting

No, thats an F alright !   My grandmother (Florence !) used to write her F's just like that ... a very curly thing like a T, then a squiggle crossing it to make it into an F.

Yes its definitely Farrar. I do transcribing & often see a F like that.

I write my "f's" like that.  ;D

The stroke that crosses the "f" is waved and has a decorative curly loop at the end. The ink looks quite thick on this signature, hence the confusion I think.  ;)
