1911 Irish census is now online (free) and 1901 census will eventually be added to National Archives website (late 2009/early 2010 is their latest estimate) so it hopefully won't be long until you are able to search it yourself. Until then it's not indexed but is available a few places. Since you are in New Zealand you might ask your local LDS library if they have it in stock (although not likely it's worth a try).
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Being a working girl getting to our nearest LSD is hard as its more than an hour away. I know that 1901 is coming on line soon, sometimes you just cannot wait.   :(
