"Page not found" errors on Ancestry this weekend ?

Is anyone else seeing "Page Not Found" errors when doing searches ?  I've seen this intermittently both yesterday (Saturday) and today.  These are "Error 400" errors, which seems to indicate a server problem.

Anyone else seen these this weekend ?

I gave up in the end on Sunday afternoon - Ancestry ground to a complete halt.  We watched a movie instead.

Usually, when Ancestry.co.uk fails, I can take advantage of my membership and go on the US site, but that was just as bad yesterday.

Might have nothing to do with your problem, but I used to get this quite often, until I started emptying my 'Temporary Files' folder every day. I came to the conclusion that continually down loading filled the folder and had to reboot each time. Set up a 'Clean Disk' for each morning and problem went. Might not work, but worth a try. Pete.

I have had no problems today.

I've been offline for 2 weeks and checking my emails today found 20+ from Ancestry thanking me for corrections, perhaps they were updating when you tried.

Hi

I get messages of this type occasionally when I am on or trying to access Ancestry at busy times.  Sometimes I can get to the page that I want by just pressing the refresh button but even that can fail.  It's particularly annoying when you have a search list and click on a record and then select ., which all works, but then the error message comes when you click the return to record or return to search list buttons.  For me the moral is "If refresh cannot resolve the problem give up and do something else."
