William Bevan

Hi

Would anyone please be able to look up the marriage of William Bevan to Mary. This was in 1785 in Llanrhidian. I believe that they are the parents of my GGG Grandfather, Benjamin Bevan. (therefore William is my GGGG Grandfather).

Had  a look on Ancestry using Pallots marriage records with no success but found this on Genuiki

The church is dedicated to St. Rhidian and St. Illtyd, is in the Benefice of Llanrhidian with Llanmadoc and Cheriton, and the diocese of Swansea and Brecon. Thank you for that. I got the marriage date & place from FamilySearch.org but there was no further info.
I will be down at the National Library sometime in November so I can do further research then.

If you are researching family living in Glamorgan it maybe worth your while joining Glamorgan family history society - they will then do look ups for you - they are really good !!
