The family records point to a Thomas Duff, b 1715, m Isbell (Isabell?) Robertson (Robinson?) 1764.  The youngest listed child, James, was bap 1781.  Unfortunately, the record before that is sketchy, suggesting Thomas's father was John Duff, b unk, m unk, d Dowally.

I am looking for whatever can be found.
