Thanks so much for all this wonderful effort. I especially like the extra colour added from the Obituaries and Death Notices.
I think we have successfully nailed both the elder and the younger Thomas James PINSENT and their respective families. The only thing that's outstanding is when and where did Thomas (senior) marry Elizabeth? Using her age at death (70) and her date of death (1908) it looks as if she was born around 1838. It also looks as if her first child (Thomas junior) was born in 1858, so it seems likely that she married in 1857 or so.
Unfortunately we can't see a marriage for them in England or in Victoria, but it could be hiding there under some odd transcription.
Thanks a lot for helping me with this whole inquiry; I've learned a lot and solved some riddles along the way.
