Ages in 1841 census-TROWAN all spellings
« on: Thursday 08 October 09 11:26 BST (UK) »
As you will notice from posts regarding the Truan all spelling family we are at dead end regarding Peter Truen at Veryan in 1790.

On the Veryan site it has Peter's son as born/baptised in 1815 but on the various census' it puts his year 1800/1801 which is at odds with the previous information.

As to Peter the elder there is only the information-1790 and there is no mention at all to whom Peter the younger's mother is.

Any help appreciated.

I have ceertificate of Peter's marriage to Eliza Peters dated 13 Jan 1838 at Church of Veryan. He is shown as a widower which ties into my research, and his father's name was Peter.  10 year age difference between Peter and Eliza per census records so I believe Peter's DOB c1800.  However there I get stuck.  Any help very gratefully received

I have a marriage certificate of Peter's marriage as well and he and his wife are 'of age'.
Peter's first wife was Thomasin Whetter and they married in 1834 and Peter was 33 years old.
