King William College: Richardson, James and Charles Mervyn
« on: Monday 07 March 05 16:30 GMT (UK) »

James was listed in King William's College Register, Isle of Man;  James was listed under "Entrances in August, 1845."  "born Dec. 28th, 1832."  Left Christmas, 1845, Son of Capt. Mervyn Richardson, Castletown, I.O.M. Day boy."
Charles was a student at King William's College, on the Isle of Man.  The Register entries for him:  Entrances in August, 1845:  "born Nov. 3rd, 1834.  Left Christmas, 1845. Son of Capt. Mervyn Richardson, Castletown, I.O.M. Day boy."
The questions are:  Where were these boys staying when they were "Day boys"?  It is possible their father was stationed there in Castletown at the time, but I have found no other information to support that.  Does anyone have knowledge or resources about the College, which would give some ideas?  Thanks for any help.
Lancashire, Cheshire, Yorkshire for Richardson, any Mervyn Richardson anywhere.
