Hi

Did you manage to find anything about the Wimbushes I mentioned above? I'm really interested to see what you have about the family.

Regards

Emma

I have come across this surname before and its variant is Wimbish. There is a village in Essex called Wimbish where I have ancestors from and some researchers theorise the surname may have originated there.

Hello
Further to my post on the connection of the Davies's with the Wimbush family ie-William Davies marries Mary Wimbush and the Davies connection in Canada. I have made contact with the Davies decendants in Vancouver BC Canada, only this week after a lot of searching. He has passed my e-mail onto his father and brothers and I am hoping I get a reply. Really excited about this breakthrough. I know it,s not the same line of decendants from the Wimbushes just another branch
I seem to have the general info about the Wimbushes as most of you.

Hi, I am a Wimbush and a direct descendant of Samuel and Alice. I have recently started to put a family tree together for my Son, its currently going off in various directions. Happy to share if it helps although I feel you may already have more information than me.
