Yes, but people are now looking up WOLDEMARs which has been done before.

We need to get the whole picture to solve the case sometimes.
Finding where one partner is living if often a clue to the other one too.
But it woud have saved us time if you had said that you have a few threads looking up the same people. We could have referred back to what has been found before.
