Sandra

In the top right hand corner of your message there are 4 boxes - one of which is labelled 'Delete'

Click on this and your message is deleted.

One of the others is 'modify' - click on this and it allows you to edit / change / modify your message as many times as you like - then click on save to save the changes.

Hi Sandra

My four buttons are - Quote, Modify, Delete, Split.

Maybe I have extra buttons as I am a Global Moderator - cant remember what I used to have except Gold stars instead of blue Ones.

Tell me what you want to remove, and I will do it for you

Sandra

I think you should have 3 icons:  quote,  modify and delete.

These should be there for all of your own messages.  As long as you are signed in with your registration,  not as a guest,  you should be able to delete your own messages.  You may have problems if there are replies to your messages.

I am going to leave this thread in the common room if you do not mind as it may be of help to anyone else experiencing problems.  Feel free to PM any of us in future if you need help,  or post a message in the common room.  We are always happy to help. :D
