(COMPLETED) GUEST Family From?
« on: Friday 16 October 09 19:42 BST (UK) »
I wonder ??? if anyone can help me with finding when and how my "Guest side of the Family" came to Australia please :'(.
My Gr Grandmother Elizabeth Guest married my Gr Grandfather William Todd at Braidwood NSW in 1860. I believe her parents were John and Elizabeth.
I have no record of the family and my research into immigrants have revealed nothing. I believe they lived at Paddington Sydney. I would like to find out where they came from and when they arrived :P
NSWBDM has John passed away in 1875. I Think. Can anyone help, Thanks

John is still in Brecon in 1861 widowed

Possible death for Elizabeth in 1855 which fits with Elizabeth stating her father living in Brecon at time of immigration

Many thanks again Kris, I find it hard to believe that I have been trying to trace Elizabeth Guest how, when, where she got to Braidwood NSW in 1860 to Marry My Gr Grandfather William. I finally found out that her parents name were as these were not on the Marriage Cert.

With that tiny Gem you find out so much. Well done!! ;D Regards Neil
