Does anyone have info on the parents of John and Margaret?

Here's a link to your earlier post which gives details of their parents. I've locked it to avoid any more duplication.

"On John Finnie's death certificate his parents are William Finnie and Mary Finnie (mother's maiden name unknown) and on Margaret Fitzpatrick's death certificate, her parents are John Fitzpatrick and Margaret Brady."

Cheers for that.  Should've added the parents' names to make it clear that I'm looking for extra info such as place of birth, year of birth.  It's getting late, I think I'm having a senior moment!  David

The details you are looking for are before the start of civil registration so the next step would be to see what church records (if any) survive. To do so you need to know the family's religion and where they lived (parish if not actual townland).
