Adams marriage in Guernsey
« on: Thursday 22 October 09 20:58 BST (UK) »
Looking for the marriage record for Mark Adams to Jane ?????

In 1851 Mark was single and living with his widowed sister Mary Ann Seymour at St. Peter Port, Guernsey.
By 1861 he was married, still living in St Peter Port with his wife and three children Mary aged 6, James aged 2 and a newborn son yet to be named.

Assume marriage took place between 1851 and 1855 on Guernsey - have checked UK BMD records and nothing shows up

Thank you
Larkham, Angel, Harris, Stockley
Hand, Adams, Welch, Lillington, Samways

Hi Rayharris

here is the result of a search at the Priaulx Library today:

Mark Adams, aged 30, son of William, of Sturminster, Dorset, and Jane Rose, aged 30, daughter of James, of Sturminster, Dorset, married on 29th August 1852 at the Town Church, St. Peter Port, Guernsey.

I hope this will help you forward with your research!

  Best wishes,

   Andy.
