Fellow listers
I would appreciate help in finding out what happened to Henry Albert ROGERS, a collateral ancestor through his mother Harriet (nee CANDY).
Henry was born in the December Quarter of 1855 in Gloucester, and he moved with his parents to Worcester, which is where he was in 1861 and 1871. In 1881, he and his (new?) wife Mary were in Liscard, Cheshire, and by 1891, they were in Toxteth Park Lancashire. Here they are in 1891 with their children; there may have been others after 1891:
1891 Census, RG12/2941, ED 85, Folio 19, Page 32,
17 Kenmar Road, Toxteth Park, Lancashire
Henry A Rogers, Head, Married, age 34, Occupation Stationers Manager, worker, born Gloucester
Mary Rogers, Wife, Married, age 34, born Lancashire Liverpool
Leonard P Rogers, Son, age 9, Occuption Scholar, born Cheshire Egremont
Laurence F Rogers, Son, age under 3 months, born Lancashire, Liverpool
Harriet Laurence, Servant, Single, age 17, Occupation General Servant, Lancashire Liverpool
Can anyone spot this family in 1901 or later? I can't tell when and where Henry died, or what became of his children following 1891.
It would be great to find his actual marriage, but this is probably too much to hope for
. Any help with his wife's maiden name would, of course, be especially welcome.
Kind regards and thanks
